Stephen brings more than 45 years of trial experience to our team. He has tried more than 50 jury trials in Illinois, Missouri, and Mississippi, and has spent his career representing people and families in serious injury, wrongful death, premises liability, nursing home abuse and neglect, and other complex civil cases.
But what makes Stephen such a strong addition to our firm is not just the number of years or trials behind him. It is the judgment that comes from walking clients through hard cases, difficult negotiations, and the pressure of trial.

Before joining Hipskind & McAninch, Stephen built a respected personal injury practice in Columbia, Illinois. He is known for careful preparation, straightforward advice, and a trial-ready approach to every case.
